Functions

 

  • Manage the contractor functions of the different areas (picking, locations, packing and shipping) providing information on a daily basis.
  • Prepare customer orders, providing the technical documentation delivery note, certificate of analysis, shipping label, among others.
  • Inventory control and periodic reconciliation with the logistics operator.
  • Manage, supervise and send incoming customer samples and those required by the laboratory.
  • Support the area manager in the document management of imports/exports in progress.
  • Request and coordinate the transportation service for the delivery of orders to customers.
  • Verify the contractor’s readiness of the products to be shipped.
  • Ensure proactive communication with internal areas of the organization for information on the status of the logistics operation.
  • Propose and participate in improvement processes.
  • Properly manage urgent delivery requirements.
  • Analyze and assign correctly the current orders to be delivered to the customer.
  • Generate and deliver LLUCH documentation (invoice + packing + COA) and prepare the original documentation to be sent to the customer.
  • File import / export files both as physical and magnetic.
  • Collaborate with the necessary departments to resolve doubts and incidents.
  • Assist the operations manager in the management of the area.
  • Attend ordinary and extraordinary requirements of the daily operation.
  • Management and control of the dispensing process with the logistics agent.
  • Comply with both general and position specific policies and procedures, as well as ensure the completion of all tasks within scope to facilitate the achievement of the company’s objectives.

Requirements

 

Education:

  • Degree in administration, logistics and/or International trade.
  • Specific studies in Logistics.

Complementary knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Logistics, operations.
  • Average knowledge of Excel.
  • Leadership and team development.
  • Specialized training in handling dangerous goods.
  • Basic knowledge in customs handling and tariff classification of goods.
  • Desirable knowledge of SAP.

Languages:

  • Spanish: Native

Experiencie:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Logistics and Warehouse Operations environment (preferably high volume environments).
