Key Account Manager

The main is to work to develop the business and increase the profitability of the company in a specific region


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients that bring in the most revenue for the company
  • Play a key role in attracting new customers and be responsible for their effective onboarding
  • Focus on growth in alternative segments where the company may not have a presence
  • Address and resolve customer complaints
  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams
  • Oversee customer service assigned to each client
  • Communicate and collaborate with marketing, sales, purchasing, technical and logistics departments to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Prepare reports on account performance, objectives and forecasts for the area concerned
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and meet established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client’s long-term objectives
  • Comply with both general and position-specific policies and procedures, as well as ensure the completion of all tasks within scope to facilitate the achievement of company objectives




  • Higher education in Chemistry, ADE, International Commercial or similar


Specific knowledge:


  • Knowledge in the fragrance, flavor, animal feed, cosmetics industries
  • Basic knowledge of international trade
  • Advanced user of Office Suite
  • Analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset




  • Spanish: advanced

  • More than 1 year of experience in a similar position.
