Functions

  • Participating in the definition of the company’s commercial strategy of his/her assigned international area, in collaboration with the General Management, while closely monitoring the correct implementation of such policy.
  • Developing the Annual sales plan of his/her assigned International area.
  • Responsible for designing and controlling the commercial strategy of the assigned area.
  • Meeting the qualitative and quantitative objectives assigned.
  • Opening new markets for the company and establishing a strong customer-supplier relationship with our existing portfolio.
  • Acquiring new Key Accounts and providing good skills for efficient networking.
  • Participating in commercial negotiations involving large accounts and keeping direct monitoring and necessary action regarding the main clients of the assigned zone.
  • Analyzing and knowing the market and the existing or potential competition, while defining actions that allow increasing market share as well as the company’s positioning.
  • Coordinating his/her activities with the company’s different departments.
  • Making offers of new products and managing control and programming of its clients’ orders.
  • Defining the quality of products on placed orders by controlling possible quality changes.
  • Identifying area indicators, by establishing correction measures regarding visits, incidences, claims,  product returns, low-profit customers, etc.

 

Requirements

Education:

  • Higher education in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or Business International Trade
  • Master’s degree from a business school and/or sales management

Specific Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the Industry and/or Feed, Fragrance, Flavors and F&F Ingredients.
  • Basic understanding of international trade.
  • Advanced Office Suite user
  • Analytical skills
  • SAP Knowledge is a plus

Additional Information:

  • Up to Travel 30%: Ability to manage day-to-day tasks as well as  attend international business trips and exhibitions/congresses
  • Be able to work on a home base

Languages:

  • Spanish: Bilingual / Proficiency  (Fluent)
  • English: Bilingual / Proficiency   (Fluent)

Experience:

  • More than five years experience in similar position
