We received the result of the Ecovadis 2022 evaluation a few weeks ago, which announced that Lluch Essence has been awarded the silver medal. Our total score has jumped from 46% to 59%, putting us in an outstanding position compared to other companies in the sector.

The Ecovadis sustainability index covers a wide range of non-financial management systems including environmental impacts, labour practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Each company is assessed on the material aspects corresponding to size, location and sector.

The overall score reflects the quality of the company’s sustainability management system at the time of assessment, and the criteria established for the recognition levels are as follows:

• Platinum: 1% of top scores (overall score between 73% and 100%)
• Gold: 5% of top scores (overall score between 66% and 72%)
• Silver: 25% of top scores (overall score between 54% and 65%)
• Bronze: 50% of top scores (overall score between 45% and 53%)

A look at the evolution of Lluch Essence’s Ecovadis score over the last three years shows that our commitment to sustainability has grown over time (from 34% to 59%). Currently, our scores in all the categories evaluated are above the sector average.
