Key Account Manager Europe

Functions:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients who bring in the most revenue for the company.
  • Play a key role in attracting new customers and be responsible for their effective on-boarding.
  • Focus on growth in alternative segments where the company may not be present.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints.
  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams.
  • Oversee customer service assigned to each customer.
  • Communicate and collaborate with marketing, sales, purchasing, technical and logistics departments to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Reporting on account performance, targets and forecasts for the relevant area.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and prepare customised solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and meet deadlines set for the achievement of each client’s long-term objectives.
  • Comply with both general and position-specific policies and procedures, as well as ensure the completion of all tasks within scope to facilitate the achievement of the company’s objectives.

Education:

  • Higher education in Chemistry, Business Administration, International Business or similar.

Specific knowledge:

  • Knowledge in the industries of fragrances, flavours, animal feed, cosmetics….
  • Basic knowledge of international trade.
  • Advanced user of Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

Languages:

  • Spanish: advanced.
  • English: advanced.
  • Italian: advanced.

Experience:

  • More than 1 year of experience in a similar position.
