Functions

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients who bring in the most revenue for the company.
  • Play a key role in attracting new customers and be responsible for their effective on-boarding.
  • Focus on growth in alternative segments where the company may not be present.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints.
  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams.
  • Oversee customer service assigned to each customer.
  • Communicate and collaborate with marketing, sales, purchasing, technical and logistics departments to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Reporting on account performance, targets and forecasts for the relevant area.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and prepare customised solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and meet deadlines set for the achievement of each client’s long-term objectives.
  • Comply with both general and position-specific policies and procedures, as well as ensure the completion of all tasks within scope to facilitate the achievement of the company’s objectives.

Requirements

 

Education:

 

  • Higher education in Chemistry, Business Administration, International Business or similar

 

Specific knowledge:

 

  • Experience in Commercial/Business Development/Sales area.
  • We value sector experience in Fragrance/Flavor/Aroma Chemicals/Essential Oils/ Animal Feed/ Ingredients positively.

 

Languages:

 

  • English: Native or Advanced
  • French/Spanish valued positively.
  • Extra language according to geographic area or business needs valued positively.

 

Skills:

 

  • Ability to negotiate and close deals. (instead of result oriented).
  • Ability to maintain excellent team work with regional and global team mates.

 

Experience:

 

  • 3-5 year of experience in Commercial/Business Development/Sales area.

 

Other:

  • Ability to travel locally and internationally according to the business needs.
