Functions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients who bring in the most revenue for the company.
- Play a key role in attracting new customers and be responsible for their effective on-boarding.
- Focus on growth in alternative segments where the company may not be present.
- Address and resolve customer complaints.
- Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams.
- Oversee customer service assigned to each customer.
- Communicate and collaborate with marketing, sales, purchasing, technical and logistics departments to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Reporting on account performance, targets and forecasts for the relevant area.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and prepare customised solutions.
- Negotiate contracts with clients and meet deadlines set for the achievement of each client’s long-term objectives.
- Comply with both general and position-specific policies and procedures, as well as ensure the completion of all tasks within scope to facilitate the achievement of the company’s objectives.
Requirements
Education:
- Higher education in Chemistry, Business Administration, International Business or similar.
Specific Knowledge:
- Experience in Commercial/Business Development/Sales area.
- We value sector experience in Fragrance/Flavor/Aroma Chemicals/Essential Oils/ Animal Feed/ Ingredients positively.Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
Languages:
- English: native or advanced
- Spanish/French positively evaluated
- Extra language according to geographical area or business need
Skills:
- Ability to negotiate and close deals. (instead of result oriented).
- Ability to maintain excellent team work with regional and global team mates.
Experience:
- 3-5 year of experience in Commercial/Business Development/Sales area.
Other:
- Ability to travel locally and internationally according to the business needs.
