Functions:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, defending and improving the business volume inline with Company Objectives.
  • Support the acquisition of new customers and be responsible for their effective on-boarding.
  • Focus on growth in alternative segments or geographies where the company may not be present.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints.
  • Lead top level projects of the company in global or regional scope.
  • Mentor, Oversee and Lead the related customer service specialists within the team.
  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams.
  • Communicate and collaborate with marketing, commercial, purchasing, technical and logistics departments to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Reporting on account performance, targets and forecasts for the relevant area to the Regional Director.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and prepare customised solutions.
  • Supporting contract negotiations with clients and meeting deadlines set for the fulfilment of each client’s long-term objectives.
  • Creation of customer database.
  • Act as backup for the commercial team in case needed.
  • Comply with both general and position-specific policies and procedures, as well as ensuring the completion of all tasks within scope to facilitate the achievement of company objectives.

Education:

  • Higher education in Chemistry, Business Administration, International Business or similar.

Specific knowledge:

  • Advanced user of Office Suite.

Complementary knowledge:

  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Basic knowledge of international trade (incoterms).
  • Knowledge in the fragrance, flavours, animal feed, cosmetics industries…

Languages:

  • English: advanced.
  • Extra language according to geographical area or business needs.

Experience:

  • More than 1 year of experience in a similar position.
