Since 2019, Sofia Lluch has been part of the IFEAT Committee – International Federation of Essential Oils and Fragrances-, a trade association founded in 1977. The organization represents the interests of companies involved in the production, processing, marketing and manufacturing of the many thousands of ingredients used in scents, fragrances and aromatherapy.

IFEAT’s main objective is to promote and protect the interests of its members worldwide through various activities.

This includes international collaboration between members and other national and international organizations, funding research and education programs, promoting best practices, disseminating information and providing forums for discussion.

Currently, 636 companies from 65 countries are members of IFEAT. It is administered by an Executive Committee that offers pro bono services and is elected by the members.

From now on, we will be one of the companies that will have a voice and vote in the organization.

Sofía Lluch comments: “Considering that IFEAT is the largest organization in our industry, being part of the Executive Committee is a huge honor. It is made up of approximately 20 members of more than fifteen nationalities and being, along with Mr. Ramón Bordas the only Spaniards, it is a great recognition of the F&F industry for our company.

There is no doubt that this is a great opportunity for us and gives us very relevant worldwide visibility. Undoubtedly, it will require a lot of work and effort, but it is a challenge that does not faze us”.
