Bergamot, an icon of the Mediterranean, enters a new chapter in Spain, a region with ideal growing conditions and a strong citrus tradition.

Spanish Bergamot from Lluch Essence offers a fresh, vibrant and luminous profile that expresses the full character of the tree: green, citrus and subtle floral notes. A modern interpretation that opens new possibilities in beverages, confectionery and gourmet creations.

This project was born from a strategic collaboration with Miguel Parra e Hijos and was recognised in 2025 with the Best Raw Material Award at the Barcelona Perfumery Congress— a milestone that confirms the value of this new origin.

In food applications, it brings a sophisticated aromatic touch to teas, craft soft drinks, baked goods and modern mixology.

In perfumery, it is essential: its profile combines vibrant green freshness, luminous peel nuances and a delicate floral touch that adds modernity, from classic colognes to contemporary genderless fragrances. Unlike Italian quality, Spanish bergamot stands out for representing the entire tree in its olfactory facets—from the green note of the leaves, to the woody note of the trunk, and the citrus note of the peel.
